So it was up to my (wonderful) husband to lighten up my day, which he did by bringing me a bunch of flowers in the warmest colours possible - and I turned them into what I call a sleeve-boquet. It differs from the traditional, spiral ones since the flowers are arranged more tightly, and the stems form a cone, which can be wrapped around with different things which emphasize its form. So I added more rattan and wool, all in corresponding warm colours, and as a result I got a beam of light which can be captured in a high, glass vase :-) Try it - I recommend it as a technique for fighting the winter gloom!
The weather forecast for Warsaw today was: sunny. So when my husband woke me up this morning before 8a.m. and I saw the sunlight through the window, I thought - thank God, finally. And let me tell you, it was a good thing he woke me up so early, because otherwise I would've missed it - it shone for about 15 minutes, and after that the day turned into a dark and misty one, with sporadic drizzles to make everyone even more miserable. Well, I shoudn't have been surprised, but I certainly was disappointed...
